The Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) of Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre (AIMS&RC) is a statutory and independent body responsible for ensuring the ethical conduct of biomedical and health research involving human participants. The committee functions in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the Drugs and Cosmetics Act (Schedule Y), and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
The primary role of the Ethics Committee is to protect the rights, safety, dignity, and well-being of research participants, and to uphold the highest standards of ethical integrity in research and clinical practice.
