The Infection Control Committee (ICC) at Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre (AIMS&RC) plays a critical role in safeguarding the health of patients, staff, students, and visitors by establishing and enforcing evidence-based infection prevention and control (IPC) practices. The committee ensures compliance with national and international guidelines, including those from the World Health Organization (WHO), National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), and Hospital Infection Control Guidelines by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
The ICC oversees the surveillance, investigation, prevention, and control of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), ensuring a safe clinical environment and promoting patient safety.
